  4. Do I have to sign a contract?

    There are no contracts for you to sign as a MeetingZone customer. Services are provided in accordance with our standard conditions of service. Long term supply contracts may be agreed, please contact us should you wish to conclude a long term supply agreement.

  5. Are there any monthly fees to pay?

    For our audio services, everything is pay as you go, billed by the second – there are no monthly fees.

    For our web conferencing services, you can choose pay as you go or a monthly license according to usage.

  7. How do I make a conference call?

    As a MeetingZone account holder, you are issued with a MeetingZone dial in telephone number and a Host and a Participant PIN. To make a conference call you dial your MeetingZone dial in number and then when prompted enter the Host PIN. This begins your conference call. Your participants will enter your Participant PIN to join you. If you are an existing customer, please log in to the customer area and select “Self Managed Call” from the top line navigation tabs for a simple 4 step process.

  8. Do I have to call you to book a call each time I want to use your service?

    No. The service is completely reservationless and you can make calls 24/7/365 from anywhere in the world.

    If, however, you would like us to manage an event call for you or you have any special call requirements, then please call us on 1-866-876-6203 (international callers 1-905-629-2884). Customer Service support is available 24 hours a day.

  9. Why would I ever need to schedule a conference call?

    With a MeetingZone account you can use the service without reservation or scheduling at any time. However you can schedule conferences using your Outlook calendar invite.

  10. What do I do if I am calling from outside North America?

    For callers from overseas we have a number of options available. Please call us to discuss your requirements or if you are an existing customer, log into the customer area and select “International/full number” list from the Self Managed Call tab where you will be able to select relevant dial in numbers as well as email/copy them to participants.

  11. Can I use different types of phone numbers to dial into my MeetingZone account?

    Yes, there is a range of dial-in numbers that you and your participants can use to access the service depending on your requirements. For example we can offer local access numbers from certain countries around the world as well as a North American Toll and Toll Free Number. Please call us or if your are an existing customer, log into the customer area and select “International/full number” list from the Self Managed Call tab where you will be able to select relevant dial in numbers as well as email/copy them to participants.

  14. I need to show slides during my conference call – can I do this?

    Certainly – our ‘Presenter’ package is ideal for this. Our application enables you to present PowerPoint slides, Word and Excel documents and carry out application and desktop sharing. The visual part of the presentation travels across the Internet while we use the conventional telephone network for the audio channel. Full details available at present online. Alternatively you can show slides simply using our one click screen sharing tool MeetingZone Glance.

  16. Are there any other conference call features I should know about?

    There are several conference controls that you as a host or a participant can use to enhance your conference call experience:

    All Participants can:

    *0 Calls the MeetingZone operator
    *4 Adjusts the call volume
    *6 Mutes/unmutes your line

    The Host can:

    #1 Roll call of attendees
    #2 Counts number of participants
    *2 Stops audio message for above
    #9 Turns off “disconnect of host hang up”
    *5 Locks/unlocks the conference for privacy
    *7 Interactive/presentation mode
    #7 Record conference (follow prompts)

    We also offer 'Operator Assistance' where one of our representatives attends your conference and assists in the smooth running, and 'Conference Replay' which allows you to make a digital recording of the call.
